Where Did Humpty Dumpty Originate From

Humpty Dumpty is a nursery rhyme which may have come from the story of a cannon which was raised to the top of the wall at the battle of Colchester, handmade wooden alphabet letters (https://wiki.roboco.co/index.php/What_Is_Collective_For_Chairs) England.
The cannon fell off the wall and the defenders could not put the cannon back on the wall. They had to surrender to the Parlimentary troops.
